James T Noble Releases “Social Media Marketing For Events” Training

London, UK (PRWEB) September 01, 2011

London-based small business marketing expert James Noble (http://www.JamesTNoble.com) today announced the release of Social Media Marketing For Events, a new multimedia training program showing business-owners how to use the power of Social Media to promote their online and offline events.

Developed in conjunction with online event expert Lou DAlo, the training demonstrates step-by-step how to harness the potential of Social Media to increase registrations for – as well as engagement during – any online or offline event.

Social Media Marketing For Events is designed for companies seeking to promote any type of event, online or offline. This includes live conferences and seminars, online teleseminars and webinars, as well as online or offline meet-ups and many more.

Its a common mis-conception that event marketing is confined to those promoting traditional conferences – the kind typically held in hotel ballrooms, explained Mr Noble. But in fact tele-conferences, online web-conferences and online or offline meet-ups can all be marketed using tried and tested event marketing principles.

This new training program combines these tried and tested principles with the new marketing opportunities created by Social Media, he added.

Social Media Marketing for Events is suitable for all small businesses, irrespective of whether or not they currently use Social Media.

Most people think that in order to use Social Media to promote your business, you have to be active on all of the social sites all of the time explains James. But thats simply not the case. When I speak to my clients, the overwhelming reason for not using Social Media is a reluctance to spend hours each day checking and responding to messages. But this isnt necessary in order to use Social Media marketing effectively.

I specialize in helping small businesses get bigger through effective, leveraged marketing. The strategies we cover in the training allow you to use Social Media to promote your events, even if youve never used Social Media yourself.

Social Media Marketing For Events is now available for purchase at James Nobles website JamesTNoble.com.

Lexington, KY (PRWEB) January 18, 2012

Sean McKay, Vice President of Business Development at American IRA-a National Provider of Self-Directed IRAs, announces free ‘Rules of The Road’ January 24th Webinar.

Sean Mckay says “We developed this webinar to help get the word out about things that people need to avoid within their self-directed IRA so that they can properly acquire assets. The feedback we received from our first month of these webinars was so overwhelmingly positive that we have decided to continue to offer this webinar each month.”

Topics that will be covered in this webinar include but are not limited to:

*Disqualified Persons
*Self-dealing
*Conflicts of Interest
*Direct Prohibited Transactions
*Proper Acquisition of Assets
*and much more…

When Congress first designed the IRA in 1974, they built in a number of restrictions meant to forbidding IRA owners from using these vehicles to benefit themselves prior to retirement. For this reason, the following transactions are prohibited within IRAs:
*They cannot buy property from their IRA.
*They cannot sell property to their IRA.
*Their relatives, defined as ascendants and descendants and their spouses, may not buy from or sell directly to their IRA.
*Their IRA cannot engage in any of the above transactions with any entities controlled by their ascendants, descendants, or any of their spouses.
*Their IRA cannot engage in transactions directly with their accountant, financial advisor, tax attorney or anyone else who advises them on their IRA, nor with any business entity they control.
*They cannot use their IRA, nor the assets within them, as security for a loan for use outside the IRA (this rule is commonly misunderstood.)

Sean interjects, “In plain English, this means they cannot use their IRA directly for their own profited, nor that of those related to them, and their advisors cannot manipulate them into using their IRA to benefit themselves. Their IRA exists for 1 purpose only: To provide economic security for them after they turn 59

Vidquik Launches Free, No-Hassle Web Conferencing at DEMO Fall 2011

Vidquik Launches Free, No-Hassle Web Conferencing at DEMO Fall 2011

Vidquik logo

Santa Clara, CA (PRWEB) September 13, 2011

Vidquik, a new, easy-to-use web conferencing solution aimed at small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs), established its beta today at the DEMO Fall 2011 conference. With the majority of current web conferencing users dealing one-to-one meetings, Vidquik’s beta will supply one-to-one meetings for gratis.

“Our technology and back-end architecture is highly cost-efficient and scalable, which means we can provide one-to-one meetings for free while other services might charge fifty dollars or more per month,” said Bernard Moon, CEO of Vidquik. “The market is demanding a super-simple, free and very low-cost web conferencing service, especially in this economy.”

Many of today’s web conferencing services are more frustrating and confusing than useful to people who work at SMBs. Using Vidquik, people don’t need to deal with downloads, or complicated user interfaces and software, as it is very fast and simple to use.

Using Vidquik’s video-only solution doesn’t require any registration or login. You go to the site and fill out an one-time form. Then you and the person you’ll be conferencing with get an email, click on the hyperlink in it, and you’re video conferencing. For Vidquik’s video-plus-presentation web conferencing version, one of you registers at the site, invites the other, and they get an email with a clickable link. Either way, it takes under three minutes – from first visiting the Vidquik site for video-only, or from completing the quick and simple registration for video-plus-presentation sharing – to start conferencing.

Vidquik’s one-to-one conferencing connecting two users/locations is free to use, and conferencing between more than two people/locations will have an incredibly affordable monthly subscription and/or one-time fees.

At Vidquik’s official product launch in November 2011, the beta version will be expanded to provide multiple meeting rooms as well as tablet versions of its web conferencing platform. Q1 2012 will see the roll-out of additional features, including:

Multiple participants with three or more locations/rooms at a very cost-effective rate     Mobile device/tablet versions for traveling salespeople     Easy-to-use online sales management tools for SMBs     Electronic signatures to help salespeople close deals online. About Vidquik
